Terms of Service

Effective July 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ftwimplants.com (the "Site"), operated by Fort Worth Family and Implant Dentistry ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Not medical advice

The content on the Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not medical or dental advice. It does not create a doctor–patient relationship and is not a substitute for professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified dentist or physician with any questions about your health. In a medical emergency, call 911. Reading the Site, submitting a form, or contacting us does not begin treatment; care begins only after an in-person evaluation and your consent.

Appointment requests and communications

Requesting an appointment or submitting a form is a request only and does not confirm an appointment until our office responds. Please do not send sensitive personal health information through website forms or unencrypted email. Online scheduling is provided through our third-party scheduling provider and is subject to its terms.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you ask us to, we will send you text messages about your care at this practice — a link to finish booking, confirmation that we received your message, an appointment reminder, or a link to your post-operative instructions. This is not a marketing list.

How you opt in. We text you only after you ask us to. That happens one of two ways: you tell us so during a phone call with our office (including with our automated after-hours assistant, which asks before sending anything), or you check the optional text-message box on a form on this Site. Consenting to text messages is never a condition of treatment — you will always be able to reach us, and be reached, by phone.

How you stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 817-924-0506. Opting out of texts does not remove you as a patient and does not affect your care.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your appointments and what you ask us for; these are not scheduled campaign sends. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge for the messages themselves.

What we will not put in a text. Text messages are not a secure channel, and whoever is holding your phone can read them. We therefore keep clinical detail out of texts: we will not describe your diagnosis, procedure, or symptoms by message. Anything specific is discussed by phone or in person.

Delivery depends on your mobile carrier, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Never rely on a text message in an emergency — call 817-924-0506, or 911 if it is a medical emergency.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for the full commitment.

Use of the Site

  • Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the Site or others.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any related systems.
  • Do not copy, scrape, or redistribute Site content without our written permission.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, images, patient photographs and videos (used with authorization), logos, and design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Patient photos and videos on the Site are shared with authorization and may not be reused.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, our scheduling provider or social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites, which have their own terms and privacy policies.

Results and testimonials

Any before-and-after photos, videos, reviews, and testimonials reflect individual experiences. Individual anatomy, healing, treatment needs, and results vary, and past results do not guarantee a particular outcome for you.

Workmanship warranty

We stand behind the work we do. For covered restorations completed at our office on or after August 1, 2026, if the restoration breaks, chips, loosens, or fails under normal use, we will repair or remake it at no charge for the periods below:

  • 5 years — crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays/onlays, and implant-supported restorations (the crown, bridge, or denture attached to an implant).
  • 3 years — complete and partial dentures.
  • 2 years — fillings and bonded restorations.

The one condition that keeps this warranty active: you must keep up your professional hygiene visits at our office — a cleaning and exam at least every six months (we allow a 30-day scheduling grace period). Regular hygiene care is what lets us catch small problems before they break your dental work; if more than seven months pass between hygiene visits, coverage lapses for work seated before the gap.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from accidents or trauma (a fall, a sports injury, biting something no tooth survives).
  • Restorations adjusted, repaired, or replaced by another dental office.
  • Failures where a prescribed protective appliance (such as a nightguard for grinding) was not worn.
  • Dental implant fixtures themselves — the implant post placed in bone is addressed separately under your surgical consent, not this warranty.

Repairs and remakes are performed at our office by our team. The warranty is a service commitment, has no cash value, and is not transferable. It is a promise about our workmanship and materials — it is not a guarantee of clinical outcomes, and individual dental results vary.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
