Full Mouth Dental Implant Process
Your Step-by-Step Guide to a New Smile
At Fort Worth Family and Implant Dentistry, we've refined the full mouth dental implant process to be as smooth and efficient as possible. Here's what you can expect at each stage:
Consultation & Planning
1-2 appointmentsDuring your initial consultation, Dr. Baker will perform a comprehensive examination, including 3D imaging of your jaw structure. Together, you'll discuss your goals and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Preparation
Varies by caseIf any teeth need to be extracted or if bone grafting is required, this will be completed first. We use advanced techniques to ensure minimal discomfort and optimal healing.
Implant Placement
1 dayFour to eight dental implants are strategically placed in your jawbone beneath the gum line. The number depends on your specific situation and oral health. With IV sedation, you won't feel a thing during this procedure.

Healing & Osseointegration
3-6 monthsOver the next few months, your implants will fuse with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. The best part? We can provide temporary teeth so you're never without a smile during healing.
Final Teeth Attachment
2-3 appointmentsOnce healing is complete, your custom-crafted permanent teeth are attached to the implants. These are designed to look, feel, and function just like natural teeth.
You'll Never Be Without Teeth
One of the biggest advantages of our process is that we can 3D print your temporary teeth on the same day as your implant placement. You leave our office with a brand new smile!
